What can be seen
When you peer secretly through
A small hole in the wall.

Train rushing past
The moor’d disus’d canal narrow boat
Such is progress
The advent of railways in the early 19th century rendered Britain’s canal system largely redundant
Swans and cygnets
To me they look alike
The swan’s grey cygnets
But I am sure they’re not
Dandelion
Geometric in form
Reproductive in purpose
A head of seeds
Dragonfly
Landing on a leaf
But for a brief moment
An insect of beauty
Identity crisis
Head in the air
My house on my back
Am I tort-oise or terra-pin?
