Stands a serene heron
Along the canals of Venice
Gently floating
In a gondola seat-ed
Tourists are so happy

Looking like stars
Merely pretty flowers they are
They adorn our home

Victorian in truth and age
Here there is beauty
A bountiful sight
See fruits aplenty
And market fresh veg to browse
The stall overflows
The internet can be maddening and frustrating
